WILKENS Augsburger Faden Cutlery Pattern
In response to the Baroque splendor and the playfulness of the Rococo, at the beginning of the 19th century, this neo-classical design is dominated by strict lines. The clear and defined shape and circulating thread are typical for this design. Augsburger Faden was added to the WILKENS collection around the year 1850 - and has remained a very popular classic ever since.
Beautifully crafted and finished to an excellent standard, WILKENS silver cutlery is both beautiful to behold and strong and durable enough for regular use. Daily use of your WILKENS silver cutlery prevents tarnishing (oxidizing) of the flatware.
With daily use your silverware takes on a patina from the myriad of scratches that scatter the light that falls on its surface in all directions. WILKENS silver cutlery may be cleaned in the dishwasher with a mild detergent. For special silver care we recommend the range of care products by Hagerty - available in the WILKENS Onlineshop. This will preserve the shine and lustre of your WILKENS silverware.
